The Great Wall of China
The Great Wall of China, is one of the world's wonder. It is imposing and beautiful.
The reason for constructing the Great Wall, because it's use to protect the attack from the North, the Huns. The Great Wall of China is in the north of China, it's a wall connect Jiayu Pass(in Gansu province) and Shanhai Pass(in Liaoling province). The meaning of the wall in older day, it's that the Great Wall is a very important fortifield point to defence the attack from the north. But in now, the meaning of the wall is more for tourism sight spot, to earn money. Any way, the Great Wall of China is also a wonder that Chinese will pride for, that's the place can show Chinese long history and fantastic culture.
In Chinese history, there are two dynasties are from out of the China's mian centre. One's Yuan, which come from Mongolia. One's Qing, the last dynasty in Chinese history, which come from the place near Koera. Any way, attack from the north always affects China hardly. More than 2000 years before, when the Qin dynasty was the government, the war between the north(Huns and Mongolia)has been started.The war kills a lots of people who live in the north of China. So, the first emperor of Chinese history- Qin Shihuang start to build the Great Wall of China, to protect the country.
Just like a gigantic dragon, the Great Wall winds up and down across deserts, grasslands, mountains and plateaus stretching approximately 6,700 kilometers (4,163 miles ) from east to west of the north China. With a history of more than 2000 years.
How ever, the Great Wall of China's sense was changing in time, in old time, the wall's sense of the emperor is a wall that use to protect the country, to keep the country safe, to consolidate the power to control the country. But in now, the Great Wall of China is one of famous tourism in China. The sense of the wall, is more on earn money in today. Any way, it's also the way to show the history of China, showing out China's special culture.
The Great Wall of China is very important to China. In the old days, the wall is use to defence the country, it's the most important fortifield point in the north of China. In 2004 today, the wall is still important to Chinese people, because it's one of world's 7 wonder, they pride of the Great Wall of China.
