   由埃里克．席格编剧的影片讲述一名富家子弟不顾父亲反对，和面包师的女儿毅然结婚，并且自力更生完成学业。但刚开始执业律师时，他可爱的妻子却患绝症撒手人寰离他而去。本片故事虽然老套，但阿瑟．希勒导演手法清新自然，角色的性格和对白都富时代气息。瑞安．奥尼尔等在片中有上佳表现，尤其是瑞安奥尼尔，将那名因追求真爱而变得固执的富家子弟塑造得非常生动。

点评：
   那时我们还年轻，我们以为可以有天长，我们可以有地久,我们就肆无忌惮地挥霍我们的青春。看这部电影的时候正是夏天，我却感觉到了刺骨的寒意。生命是这样的不可捉摸，爱情也不是万能的。只有那歌声《love story》依旧在心间回荡。
   学会珍惜是我们必须上的人生一课。如果象海伦·凯勒说的：把生命的每天都当做最后一天，充分享受生命给我们带来的欢乐。那我们的生活会有多么精彩！哪怕只是一天，也不会虚度了吧？
